It is with a heavy heart that we inform all our members and friends of the sad passing of Betty Mc Cord, a club stalwart and a great neighbour to her friends on Clanree Road.

It was from this house that many a mentor carried the posts out to be put up in Maypark.

It was very often that it was Betty who was there to organise things.

She was always available when the club needed someone to organise the tea and sambos for the visiting teams or for a funeral.

Together with her beloved husband Con, they were regular visitors to the Club. Their home was always on the list to take a few lads from visiting teams.

She will be sadly missed by all.
